Casual Pixel Warrior
A downloadable game for Windows
Casual Pixel Warrior
Survive the waves! Buy weapons and ammo! Unlock new stages! Purchase companions! Solve daily quests and get rewards! Casual Pixel Warrior is a wave shooter where your endurance to last an infinite fight depends on your skill, unlocked weapons and purchased ammo.
This game is a casual game where you can fight endless waves of various enemies on different stages. This allows you to earn coins - and sometimes gems - to purchase items in your home base in return. Get new weapons, unlock new stages, buy ammo and even pets.
You can do daily quests in order to get useful rewards to earn coins even faster. Each new day you will be rewarded free items that are selected randomly for a day. You can select from three different free items which will then be rewarded to you upon selection.
And if you feel lonely in your home base, you should really buy some pets! Not only are they cute and cuddly (check for a red heart), but they will also poop fortune! Just clean their poop and you will get coins in return. But don't forget to feed your pets or they will not be amused!

Hi, glad you like the game and thank you for playing it! Also thank you for your support on your website! I am very busy at the moment, but I am planning on updating the game more and adding new features.
cannot wait :) next time I'ma do some gameplay to unlock things then record some more features of it when I can
Pretty cool game!
I understood the premise pretty quickly, but it took me a minute for the controls (like how to eat stuff and throw grenades). I ended up not using the dodge mechanic as much, because it usually launches me into enemy fire or a tower. Major concerns:
- Everything is really small! It's hard to read, see enemies, see collectables on the field, even click on things sometimes.
- The first wave is a little hard for a first wave. I would suggest not having the enemies respawn (or only have some respawn instead of all); This provides enough challenge without worrying about doing everything over again.
- I can't tell how much cover the tree stumps provide. Sometimes I hide behind them and get fragged anyway, and sometimes I shoot though them and they don't hit the enemy. Maybe I'm overthinking it?
Music and sfx are fine (the title screen's music is creepy af at first lol). I did quite appreciate the satisfying feeling of defeating enemies, and how the game provokes the player to strategize instead of just going in blindly.
Nice work, keep it going!
Thank you for your feedback!
- What is your screen size? I have a rather default sized screen, maybe you have a big screen and thus everything is small
- Yeah, I heard often that the game seems hard at the beginning. There is a steep learning curve. Maybe I can integrate some kind of difficulty to choose from
- Oh, yeah, that may be a little misleading. Actually plants and stuff do not provide any cover. Only the bigger rocks do. I guess I have to make it more distinctive so you can intuitively tell what obstacles give cover and which don't
- Haha, lol, yeah from the dark menu background and the music it gives more the impression of a zombie survival shooter xD
Thank you very much for your feedback! I really appreciate it.
(Looks up how big the screen is on a Surface Pro 7)
Um... yeah, it's about a 13-inch screen! Maybe there can be an option to zoom in or out? Unless that's too hard to program? Or maybe I can just zoom in? Idk lol
Again, nice game you've got here. It'd be cool to see where it goes!
Oh, maybe it has a very large resolution, like width having more than 2K pixels. This can indeed be a problem with the game since the dimensions of the gfx assets are static and don't adjust relative to the screen.
Currently there is no zooming available. I'd first have to figure out if and how this would be possible. But I want to replace the media component (DirectX) with SDL2 or SFML in future which will open new possibilities.
Thanks! I am planning on making an update soon.
